Tomato salad is simple yet so rewarding. This has been my staple snack ever since I put the bottle down. It’s healthy, tasty and makes a great side dish when you have people over.
- 2 tomatoes
- Bulgarian Feta (I say Belgium in the video..sorry!)
- Kalamata olives (optional)
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Salt and Pepper
- Fresh mint
- Warm pita bread
Tomatoe salad doesn’t need much explanation, but here goes. Slice the tomatoes, add sliced cucumbers if you’re feeling dangerous, add the salt and pepper, then add the feta. cut or crumbled, top w/ extra virgin olive oil, chopped mint and eat it by grabing the food w/ your warm pita…or if you’re mom is home use a fork!
