Grilled Pizza

  • Pizza dough or store bought crust
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Tomato sauce, get one that includes some spices or make your own
  • Cheese (of your choice)
  • any other toppings you’d like!
  • - my toppings:

  • Whole-wheat pizza crust
  • Sauce
  • Dried thyme
  • Kalamata olives
  • Ham
  • Provolone cheese
  • Step 1: Pre:heat the grill to medium. Put the dough or crust on until you see some good grill marks. Flip the crust, brush lightly with extra virgin olive oil and then put your toppings on.  You don’t need too much of each ingredient so everything heats evenly.

    Close the lid and give it 2 minutes or so. Keep an eye on it, but you’ll be able to tell when it’s done.

    Step 2: Slice it up and eat it!

    You can buy pocketless pitas from the market or pizza dough. Click here for dough prep. This recipe is sooo easy and makes for a great dish at parties. Get a bunch of crusts and toppings and everyone can make their own personal pizza.
