This is NOT your Aunts homemade pie…But it is GOOD and really easy to make. If you are having friends over it will be a nice treat and won’t take ANY effort!
Ingredients:
- 1 Frozen Pie Crust
- 1 Packet of Chocolate Pudding
- 3 Cups of Milk
- 1 or 2 Bananas
- Whip Cream
- Chocolate bar of choice
Directions:
Pie Crust:
Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees. Poke the Pie Crust with a fork several times all around. Place frozen Pie Crust in the oven for 12 minutes.
Pudding:
Empty packet in mixing bowl combined w/ 3 cups of milk. I used Low Fat milk. Whisk the contents for 2 mins until pudding thickens. Place in fridge for 5 mins.
Combine:
When the Pie Crust has cooled scoop half the pudding into the crust. Layer the banana and then scoop the rest of the pudding into the crust.
How to Serve:
When you are READY to serve spray the whip cream on the pie starting from the center and spiraling out. Then take a cheese grater, zester or veggie peeler and shave the chocolate bar on the whip cream… like a light snowfall!
Serve this IMMEDIATELY!! This dish tastes great, but too much time on the table will make the pie look a tad bit tired.
ENJOY!!
